Easter Egg Hunt

As you know we are putting together a wonderful (hopefully annual) fun day for our kids and parents! We are planning an Easter Egg Hunt and games like Egg and Spoon races and 3 legged races in age groups, we will also be having a Mommies race and Daddies race for the enjoyment of the Kids. The Green Mamba buggy will be doing rides for the kids The hunt must be supervised by the parents or grandparents. All Eggs found and collected should be brought back to the event table where the organisers will divide the “treasure” such that all children receive an equal number of eggs to take home.

Parents can also bring along their portable braais, picnic basket (and rubbish bag) and refreshments, blanket, folding chairs, etc to enjoy the serenity of the day and to mingle with and meet other members of the Fernwood family.

The event will be in the Emerald Fern Park ( where the jungle Jim is situated) on Family Day, Easter Monday 18th April kicking off at 10h00.

Participating Kids should be 2 - 13 years of age. Mommies and Daddies can be any age!

The event will have +_18 Disney-painted cut-out figurines all around the park for the crowd to enjoy (thanks to Chantelle who has spent 3 months making and painting them).

YOUR MC PASSED A RESOLUTION TO SPONSOR THIS EVENT FOR THE FERNWOOD CHILDREN.

We request that parents let Anton know urgently how many children will be coming to the event and to collect an entrance ticket per child from Anton at his office. AS SOON AS YOU CAN SO WE CAN PLAN AND GET ORGANISED FOR THE EVENT. We will prove the Easter Eggs, lollies, and race prizes.

Please get your tickets at the latest by the 12th of April.

We hope this will be a resounding success for both Parents and Kids. If the attendance is good we will make this an Annual Event.
